Traveller from Bristol stayed in February,2008

The hotel was excellent. In a perfect central location for sight seeing with a view over the Presidential Palace. A 5 minute walk takes you straight into the centre of the old town. The breakfast buffet was excellent value and offered a very varied selection of food. Our room was modern, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and I would certainly stay at the Crowne Plaza if we visited Bratislava again.

Top Tip:
It's worth visiting Vienna if you have the time. The train fare is about £8 each per person return, and the train station is a 10 -15 minute walk from the hotel. For good food, Hotel Peruja in the old town is excellent for traditional Slovakian food, and Rambla is an excellent tapas bar well worth a visit if you like Spanish cuisine. The only thing you may want to bear in mind when visiting Bratislava is that if you are there on a Sunday a lot of things are closed.
