Originally constructed in 1837 as the Inn at the Three Green Trees, the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel has always been one of the most prestigious properties in the Slovak capital. Today, under the management of Radisson Blu, this luxurious hotel can once again command centre stage. The lobby is large and extremely impressive, with marble fittings and plenty of seating. Each floor of the hotel is dedicated to a different musical composer and the guest rooms come in two different styles: contemporary or classic. Rooms are equipped with all the modern facilities you would expect from the best hotel in town. The bathrooms are spacious with heated floors. The Opera Brasserie, on the ground floor, boasts a lovely outdoor terrace for use in the summer months, overlooking the National Opera and Hviezdoslav Square. Its menu is inspired by French gastronomy. Alternatively, the Mirror Bar, its red interior decorated to look like a traditional library, is a popular rendezvous point, serving cocktails and snacks with live entertainment.
