Only problem during our stay, they did not advise us of a large reception for foreign officials and we were unable to use the restaurant on our last evening.
Top Tip
Within easy walking distance of the Old Town where there are a large number of eating places and pubs. Also convenient for the boarding point for boat trip to Vienna.

This really was perfect for large group of travelling blokes (stag) for Bratislava. Perfect location on the river very close to old town centre, staff were friendly and helpful (unlike lots of other slovaks I found), facilities were great with the relaxation centre, breakfast was decent and it wasn't too busy either. Thanks to Hotel Devin!

Great location. 5th floor (with balcony) for fab views of the Danube. Super breakfasts. Staff low profile but very efficient and there whenever needed.

Devin Castle worth a visit - get a 29 bus from just down the road. Get an up to date tram map, ours was published in 2009 but out of date. Try a day trip to Vienna, via a number 13 tram ride and an 11 euro return train ticket. If you like opera the tickets are brilliant value and can be reserved by e-mail to collect at booking office. We used Bratislava Airport Transfers which cost 16 euros (each way) but were on time & dropped at the front door with English speaking drivers. If you want to buy jewellery make sure that you negotiate the price well down from the ticket price!

Comment
Good central location with views over the Danube - shame about the busy main road on the riverside.
The hotel was clean and of appropriate standard for the star rating. Staff were polite and very helpful. Only disappointment was the size of the swimming pool (crowded with 3 people).
Top Tip
Look out for the student bar / restaurant away from the central area - best and cheapest food we found plus home brew beer - albeit that the service was a bit brusque.
